In line with the directives of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the instructions of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, regarding the allocation of 6,800 housing services to citizens, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning is actively progressing with the housing distribution procedures for Salman City, East Hidd City, and East Sitra City projects.

Electronic draws for the housing units will continue until the end of February 2024, following a predefined schedule to ensure a swift and continuous process.

Citizens have expressed appreciation for the smooth flow of procedures. Specialized staff have provided detailed explanations to them about housing units, requirements, guarantees offered by the ministry, as well as information on the electronic withdrawal process, various housing unit types, and contract details.

The ministry is ongoing with its procedures for housing financing solutions through "Tas’heel Aqari," "Tas’heel Al Bait Al Oud," and "Tas’heel Ta’awon," along with the newly introduced "Mazaya" category.

To assist citizens in obtaining housing financing services, the ministry offers advisory services through its website www.housing.gov.bh and the eGovernment portal. The Customer Support Centre provides consultations, answers inquiries about financing standards, and accepts online applications for financing services.

Advisors at the Customer Support Centre are available to assist citizens, offering guidance and calculating the financing value before the formal process initiation. Electronic services, including video call consultations, are available for those who prefer online interactions.
