Born in Manama in 1942, Hasan Kamal began his career in the music sector at Radio Bahrain in 1959, gradually advancing to become the director of Radio Bahrain Direction from 1980 to 1988. Subsequently, he assumed the role of director of Culture and Arts at the Information Ministry, followed by serving as the Secretary General of the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Literature. Kamal made substantial contributions to poetry and lyrics writing throughout his career.
