The Health Ministry Advises Administering Bivalent Booster Shots For Children In Relation To COVID-19

The Ministry of Health has urged guardians to provide their children aged 5-11 with the latest bivalent booster shot for COVID-19 and its variants. Dr. Basma Al Saffar, Head of the Disease Control Department at the Health Ministry, mentioned that the vaccine is accessible at Halat Bu Maher Health Centre, Hamad Kanoo Health Centre, and Shaikh Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah Health Centre.
Guardians can bring their children to the health centers without scheduling an appointment, with vaccination services available from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Dr. Al Saffar emphasized the significance of vaccination in boosting immunity and reducing the symptoms and complications of the virus.
