Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, the Director of the National Guard Staff, hosted the victorious National Guard team from the Interior Ministry Open Cricket Tournament 2023. The tournament, organized by the Public Security Sports Association, featured twenty teams, including military ones.

Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud conveyed congratulations from His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, the National Guard Commander, praising the winning team's performance. He highlighted that this triumph further enhances the National Guard's impressive sports achievements on both local and international stages.

Emphasizing the National Guard Presidency's commitment to sports, Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz mentioned the formation of sports teams participating in various local and international events. In this tournament, two National Guard teams, A and B, competed, culminating in a final match against the Special Security Force team.
