Pravasi Legal Cell (PLC) has appointed Sudheer Thirunilath as the Country Head of PLC Bahrain Region. PLC is an organisation which is based in New Delhi and is working to empower Pravasi's (expatriates) through the law. PLC has effectively intervened and resolved numerous issues before the Supreme Court and High Courts amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.

Sudheer Thirunailath has been residing in Bahrain for over 29 years and is well-recognized in the social and cultural arena of Bahrain. Working as the Executive Secretary to His Highness Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, he is part of numerous humanitarian activities for over 25 years. 

“The appointment of Sudheer Thirunilath as Bahrain country head will be beneficial for the Pravasi's (expatriates) of Bahrain,” said Global President of Pravasi Legal Cell Advocate Jose Abraham. Amaldev is also serving as the Co-coordinator of PLC Bahrain.

A prominent member of the community, Sudheer for years has been working at the forefront resolving issues faced by different classes of society. He has been serving as an office bearer, advisor and patron to several organizations in Bahrain. From Legal Aid to playing a major role in the repatriation of expatriates to their home country during the pandemic, he is a familiar face to many.

A humanitarian, Sudheer attended The Diplomacy Training Program last year under the United Nations, held in Beirut Lebanon which aimed at promoting the rights of migrant workers in the Middle East. He has been vocal against the unfair treatment of workers and has helped many unfortunate workers and ill migrants to return home.
