Panel Vows To Improve Drug Management

THE National Committee for the Unified Procurement of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Supplies is stepping up efforts to rationalise expenditure and reduce waste of medicine and medical equipment, said the Supreme Council for Health (SCH) chief. Delivering his inaugural speech at the first conference on pharmacovigilance and drug safety, Lieutenant General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa commended His Majesty King Hamad’s support for the health sector .
