New Covid Variant Discovered In Bahrain

In a press conference held by the National Taskforce for Combatting the Coronavirus today, it has been announced that a new Covid variant has been discovered in Bahrain.
As a precautionary measure and for a period of 3 weeks, the following will be implemented:
• School attendance at government and private schools and kindergartens will be suspended (from 31 Jan)
• Indoor dining at restaurants will remain suspended (from 31 Jan)
