Malawi Opens Consulate-General In Laayoune, Morocco

Malawi opened on Thursday a Consulate-General in Laâyoune, thus marking its firm support for Morocco's sovereignty over its Sahara and for its territorial integrity, Agence Marocaine de Press (MAP) reported.
The inauguration of this consulate took place in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, and his counterpart from Malawi, Eisenhower Nduwa Mkaka.
More than twenty countries have so far opened diplomatic representations in the Moroccan Sahara, MAP added.
