“We hope that the ministry of works will approve establishing a new fuel station in Janabiyah area,” stated the municipal member of the Northern Municipal Council, Muhammad Al-Dosari, to the media. 

He added that the fuel station would be located in Complex number 561, west of the main street of Janabiyah area and south of Budaiya Street. 

Al-Dosari stated that the Northern Municipal Council submitted its decision to the Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning requesting approval to change the classification of a property to a project area for the purpose of establishing a fuel supply station. He added that the project would contain other services like eight shops and facilities for car service, an ATM, three fast-food restaurants and a small supermarket.

Al-Dossary indicated that the council received the approval of the National Oil and Gas Authority in addition to the approval of the General Traffic Department. He noted that the station came to the urgent need for areas’ residents, especially with the urban expansion and the opening of Salman City and many commercial complexes near the area.
