His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from the Advisor to HRH the Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Abdulla bin Hassan Saif, on being awarded the Legion of Merit, Degree Chief Commander, by the US President in recognition of HMs efforts in strengthening the solid Bahrain-US relations and joint cooperation.

The Advisor affirmed the major leading role played by HM the King in supporting the principles and values of stability, peace, tolerance and coexistence at the regional and global levels.

He also stressed HM the King’s key role in consolidating the solid relations between the two friendly countries for decades, and strengthening Bahrain’s strategic status as a permanent strategic ally and partner to the US, wishing HM King Hamad abundant health and happiness.
