Today, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, officially opened the command building and new facilities at Safreh Camp in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister.
The inauguration was part of Bahrain's national days and marked the anniversary of His Majesty the King's accession to the throne, as well as the celebration of Bahrain Police Day. Upon arrival, His Majesty was welcomed by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Interior Minister, and other senior officials.
His Majesty extended congratulations to the Interior Minister on the opening of the new facilities, expressing appreciation for the minister's dedicated efforts. During the tour of Safreh Camp, His Majesty unveiled a commemorative plaque to mark the inauguration of the command building.
In the guestbook, His Majesty expressed gratitude for the efforts of the Interior Ministry and its affiliates, acknowledging their contributions to maintaining security in the kingdom. He highlighted that the new facilities showcased Bahrain's preparedness and readiness to address challenges and protect the nation.
As part of the event, His Majesty honored the Royal Police Academy's pace-sticking team for winning the All Arms International Pace Sticking Competition for the tenth time since 2009. He congratulated the minister and all ministry employees on Bahrain Police Day, praising their achievements, professionalism, readiness, and outstanding capabilities.
His Majesty commended the joint efforts of the Ministry of Interior, Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), National Guard, and National Intelligence Service in carrying out their mission. He affirmed Bahrain's commitment to remaining free, proud, and safe, continuing its progress and prosperity through the dedicated efforts of its people.
His Majesty conveyed greetings and appreciation to all Ministry of Interior employees, wishing them continued success. The Interior Minister expressed gratitude to His Majesty for inaugurating the new facilities, praising His Majesty's leadership and vision for continued development to ensure stability and security.
