Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Yasser Shaaban received a delegation from the Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA).

The ambassador stressed that this meeting represents the embassy and BJA's keenness to maintain continuous cooperation.

Shaaban congratulated the president and members of the Board of Directors, for winning the elections, and discussed a number of issues and ideas to enhance coordenation between Egyptian Journalists Syndicate and the BJA.

BJA president Isa Al Shaiji expressed his pride in the Bahraini-Egyptian historical relations. 

He noted that the coordination between BJA and Egyptian Journalists Syndicate is a part of their efforts to develop the role of the press and media locally and regionally.
