Under the patronage of Lieutenant-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, and Royal Guard Commander, a ceremony was conducted by the Royal Guard in the Bahrain Defence Force to observe Commemoration Day.

Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Royal Guard's Special Force Commander, attended the ceremony. It began with the recitation of Holy Quran verses, followed by the firing of an artillery shot to initiate a minute of silence, concluding with another shot. A musical band played "Last Return," and a prayer was offered for the fallen servicemen. Subsequently, HH Shaikh Nasser and HH Shaikh Khalid watered a palm tree symbolizing eternal life.

HH Shaikh Nasser paid tribute to Bahrain's fallen servicemen, emphasizing that their names and sacrifices would forever be a source of pride and remembrance for Bahrainis. Commemoration Day, initiated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, is a national occasion to honor the sacrifices of late servicemen and draw inspiration from their loyalty, sacrifices, and patriotism.

HH Shaikh Nasser highlighted the pride and appreciation with which the leadership marks Commemoration Day, and citizens are committed to commemorating the anniversary to honor the fallen in a manner befitting the significance of the occasion. The Razji pin has become a symbol of the day's importance, according to HH Shaikh Nasser, who affirmed that Bahrain's fallen servicemen have etched inspiring tales of heroism into the nation's history.

These servicemen, who defended their land, exemplify Bahrain's commitment to its principles in times of crises, supporting its citizens, Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and Arab and Islamic nations. HH Shaikh Nasser expressed gratitude and appreciation to the families of the fallen servicemen.
