Bahrain Network (BNET), the national company responsible for delivering fiber-based broadband network services in Bahrain, has announced the successful conclusion of an emergency simulation exercise.

The primary goal of the exercise was to ensure the resilience and uninterrupted operations of the network while evaluating the organization's readiness and response capabilities. The simulation replicated an emergency scenario, identifying both successful outcomes and areas requiring improvement.

This initiative aligns with BNET's commitment to enhancing the availability and resilience of its broadband services, supporting the vision of "a prosperous community where everyone is connected." It also contributes to the Kingdom's efforts to establish a robust communications infrastructure that fosters local economic growth.

Shaikh Ebrahim bin Mohamed Al Khalifa, Chief Operating Officer of BNET, emphasized that the exercise helped identify areas for improvement, ensuring preparedness for potential business disruptions. He stated that ongoing exercises reflect their dedication to enhancing network efficiency and providing elevated services for both individual and enterprise customers.

Eman Hafedh, Head of Risk Management and Business Continuity at BNET, expressed satisfaction with the exercise's success, highlighting the prompt and effective responses from employees and partners. She emphasized the commitment to strengthening network resilience throughout the Kingdom.
