Bahrain Opens Covid Vaccine Registration For Pregnant Women

The Health Ministry today announced that it has opened Covid-19 vaccination registration for breastfeeding mothers and pregnant women.
Ministry assistant under-secretary Dr Maryam Al Hajeri said in a statement that they would be allowed to choose from Sinopharm and Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines.
The decision was taken after studying all recommendations issued by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the US Centre for Disease Control related to providing adequate protection for this group.
