The Agriculture and Marine Resources Undersecretary at the Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry Dr. Nabil Muhammad Abu Al-Fateh confirmed the proceeding of the tightening strategy to control maritime violations that affect the fish stocks of Bahrain.     He said that they will continue the efforts to launch initiatives aimed at promoting the fishing sector, which is an important pillar in achieving sustainable food security for the Kingdom, affirming the keenness to strengthen the partnership with the Professional Fishermen Association to discuss any observations and receive any proposals, based on the advancement of the fishing sector in Bahrain.     He discussed the needs of fishermen with Maritime Control Department Director Khaled Al-Shirawi, and Professional Fishermen Association Jassem Al-Jeeran, who conveyed a set of observations and suggestions aimed at improving the situation of citizens working in the fishing sector and initiatives that would support their profession.
