A 66-years-old Bahraini elderly passed away in a fire that broke out in an apartment in the Adleya area. This went viral after being announced by the Ministry of Interior through its official social media accounts. 

The ministry stated that the General Directorate of Civil Defense managed to put out and control the fire that resulted in the death of a person (66 years old). 

Not much of information was officially revealed, but preliminary information indicated that the General Directorate of Civil Defense sent four vehicles and a rescue team comprised of 12 officers and individuals to fight and control the fire and prevent it from spreading to the rest of the nearby buildings. As for the cause of the fire, it is thought to be negligence while using the portable gas stove inside the apartment.

The Ministry of the Interior assured that everything was under control and the necessary official procedures were taken by concerned authorities. 

The ministry urged all to take maximum precautions in general and those regarding electricity connections and gas connections and stoves, to avoid dangerous incidents that might put souls in danger.
