
Bahrain has lost one of its loyal sons who dedicated his life to serving his country and contributed, through steadfast work, to its progress and development, His Majesty King Hamad said.
He was speaking as he yesterday received, at Safriya Palace, Parliament speaker Fouzia Zainal, Shura Council chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh and deputy chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council and Cassation Court president Abdulla Al Buainain, who offered their condolences on the passing of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The King’s personal representative Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, his representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and National Security Adviser Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Royal Court Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa were present.
The mourners praised Prince Khalifa’s role in serving Bahrain and promoting its comprehensive progress that resulted in many achievements across all fields. They also wished His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, success in carrying the trust and responsibility to continue the kingdom’s forward-looking progress and fulfil the aspirations of its loyal citizens.
The King expressed his appreciation for the noble feelings, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest the soul of the deceased in eternal peace.
