Housing Minister Bassem bin Yacob Al Hamer announced that the number of beneficiaries of the "Mazaya" project reached 1665 beneficiaries during this year, while the total number of beneficiaries of the program since its establishment has reached 6,485, according to the Ministry's statistics database.

Minister Al Hamer said that the project is an embodiment of the partnership success between the public and private sectors by being able to meet thousands of housing requests within a short period of time, pointing out that the average value of the prices of units and apartments that citizens actually benefited from reached BD101,228.

The minister said that the "Mazaya" confirms the success of the government's vision of engaging the private sector in providing social housing services to citizens, which allows citizens to choose their housing unit in terms of location, area and unit components, through projects of real estate development companies approved by the Ministry.
