Expatriate Remittances Rose To SR 149.7 Billion In 2020

The monthly data issued by Saudi Arabia’s Central Bank showed an increase in expatriate remittances of in the Kingdom by 19.3% in 2020, reaching SR 149.69 billion, an increase of SR 24.16 billion over the previous year.
Meanwhile, Saudi remittances recorded a decrease of 16.4% in 2020 to SR 48.57 billion, compared to SR 58.09 billion in 2019. Saudi remittances declined in December by 3.3% to SR 4.79 billion, compared to SR 4.96 billion in the previous year.
